You've created a custom food, recipe or set, but it doesn't come up when you search in Add to Diary. It's almost always one of the reasons below.
The profile uses a different food database
Every action belongs to one food database — you chose it when you created the action — and every profile has its own food database too. An action only appears in a diary's search when the profile uses the same database the action was created in.
To check the two match:
- On the Actions page, find the item — each row shows the database it belongs to.
- From the diary you're searching in, select Profile in the header and check the Food database under Preferences.
If they differ, either switch the profile to the action's database — see Choose a food database — or recreate the action in the database the profile uses. An action's database is fixed once it's created — see Custom foods, recipes and sets.
A search filter is hiding it
In Add to Diary, the Food, Recipe and Set chips narrow the results to one type. If a chip is selected, items of the other types don't appear — clear it or pick the chip matching what you're looking for.
You're signed in to a different account
Actions live in the workspace that created them. If you have more than one Foodzone account, check you're signed in to the right one — your account email is shown in Settings.
