These terms govern your use of Foodzone, operated by Nutrition Experts Pty Ltd (trading as Foodzone). By using Foodzone, you agree to these terms.

The service

Foodzone is a health tracking platform for individuals and health professionals. We provide tools to log health actions (food, exercise, supplements, measurements), track progress, and share information with clients.

Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use Foodzone
  • One person or business per account

Your data

Ownership

You own your data. The health action entries, custom foods, recipes, routines, and personal information you add to Foodzone belong to you. You can export or delete your data at any time.

License to provide the service

By using Foodzone, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your data as needed to provide the service. This includes showing your data to people you choose to share it with.

Aggregated insights

We may use aggregated, anonymised data to improve our services. This means we can learn from patterns across all users (like popular health actions or common goals) without identifying you personally. This helps us build better features and provide smarter suggestions.

For health professionals

If you use Foodzone to work with clients:

  • You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from clients
  • You must comply with your professional obligations and regulations
  • Client data remains confidential between you and your clients
  • We do not access individual client data for our own purposes

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Foodzone for any illegal purpose
  • Share your account with others
  • Attempt to access other users' data
  • Interfere with the security or operation of the service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or access the service

Payments and subscriptions

Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings.

Refunds are provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Intellectual property

Foodzone, including our software, design, and branding, belongs to Nutrition Experts Pty Ltd. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our service without permission.

The nutrition data we provide comes from public food databases and is for informational purposes only.

Not medical advice

Foodzone is not a substitute for professional medical or health advice. Always consult a qualified health professional before making changes to your diet or exercise routine, especially if you have a medical condition.

Service availability

We aim to keep Foodzone available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nutrition Experts Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Foodzone.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Account termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, you can export your data for 30 days.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
